General Accountability

The Marketing Coordinator, Meetings, and Events will provide administrative and logistical support for conferences, meetings, and event initiatives.
**This is a 6-month contract position**

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and execution of meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Assist with logistics such as travel coordination, shipping materials, meeting schedules, and on-site event support.
  • Maintain records related to consultant and speaker activities, reimbursements, and event documentation.
  • Process invoices, maintain expense records, and provide administrative support for budget tracking.
  • Support the development of event-related marketing materials and communications.
  • Work with internal teams to support event preparation and communications.
  • Organize and maintain contact databases including attendees, vendors, and stakeholders.

Education

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Key Attributes

  • 1+ years of administrative, marketing, event coordination, or related experience preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as required for events and meetings.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support a collaborative team environment.

The expected base pay range for this role is $25 -$35 CAD per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and job-related factors.
