Essential Functions and Duties

  • Develop, create, and curate engaging multimedia content across social, digital, and email platforms to expand reach, strengthen brand awareness, support and drive consumer loyalty.
  • Contribute to and execute unique strategy for GLBC’s primary social media channels, ensuring brand consistency, accuracy, and alignment with company priorities. (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform developments, and audience behaviors relevant to business and industry.
  • Plan, manage, and execute editorial and content calendars, including brainstorming, creation, collaboration, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Establish performance metrics, provide regular channel and content reporting, and apply KPI learnings to optimize strategy, investment decisions, and return on investment.
  • Manage social communities and customer interactions across owned channels in a timely, professional manner that reflects GLBC’s brand voice and values.
  • Support integrated marketing communications plans across campaigns, product launches, and company initiatives through owned, earned, and paid media efforts.
  • Support email marketing planning and execution, including content development, review coordination, approvals, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Provide website and digital content support as needed to maintain alignment with brand standards and broader campaign priorities.
  • Support essential website functions on company websites through blogs, news items, menu updates, event pages, and more to support campus happenings and optimize user experience, searchability, and shareability
  • Manage content workflows and project organization tools to facilitate cross-functional planning, stakeholder feedback, and timely execution.
  • Coordinate partnership and collaboration content, including co-branded and partner-supported social media initiatives.
  • Support location and event-specific initiatives as assigned.
  • Independently manage priorities, workflow, and deadlines while delivering accurate, on-brand, and timely work.
  • Support internal communications, creative initiatives, and innovative engagement opportunities.
  • Contribute to media and public relations efforts, including press materials, announcements, media outreach, interviews, photo and video shoots, product sample fulfillment, and internal communication.
  • Serve as a GLBC spokesperson and professional brand representative for media, public relations, and external partners as needed.
  • Develop and manage strategic, brand-aligned influencer partnerships, including identifying and cultivating appropriate collaborators, supporting outreach and agreements, coordinating influencer kits and deliverables, and ensuring activations align with brand standards, campaign objectives, and audience growth opportunities.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, English, communications, or social media community management field required or equivalent experience

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 2+ years professional experience in related field preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and copy development skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across channels and audiences.
  • Strong verbal communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging social, digital, and marketing content that supports brand goals and business priorities.
  • Experience supporting social media strategy, content publishing, community management, email marketing, and related communications initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with content management, analytics, and project workflow tools.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and platform-native photo, video, and audio editing tools.
  • Photography skills using smartphones and DSLR cameras to capture and execute high-quality content for social, digital, and marketing channels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute positively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Comfort representing the company in media, public relations, community, event, or partner-facing settings as needed in a positive and professional manner.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable under the company’s insurance requirements.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
