Job DescriptionResponsibilities
- Plans, develops and implements messaging for promotion of product awareness, business plans and management communications.
- Partners with management, business units, or sales to leverage message.
- Develops, enhances or revises marketing collateral for web, print or other media channels.
- Participates in media placement decisions.
- May work with outside agencies to build and execute a media strategy.
- May function as editor for formal business communications.
- May design and implement measurements to analyze messaging program effectiveness and quantify revenue generated from executed programs.
- Co-develops and supports the implementation of strategic MarCom programs to increase brand visibility, public relations, related business objectives and protects the corporate brand.
- Supports MarCom with writing, reviewing and editing a variety of marketing materials including press releases, news pitches, blogs, social media posts, conferences and special events, and corporate communication materials.
- Grows social media accounts for global TEL brand, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn by creating content and manages publishing and reporting analytics to TEL corporate.
Typical Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or Master's Degree without experience; or Associate's Degree with 6 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
