Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) is an integrated organization within the Federal Reserve that is responsible for managing critical payment and securities services that foster the accessibility, integrity and efficiency of the U.S. economy. We support the Federal Reserve System's operation of an electronic payments and information delivery network for over 9,000 financial institutions, transacting more than 70 million payments daily.
The Marketing Communications team is an inclusive, innovative group within FRFS tasked with responsibility for strategic brand management and integrated communications strategies across FRFS payments products and services.
The Marketing Communications Specialist supports execution of FRFS integrated marketing strategies with a focus on copywriting and creative design across different channels. This role is expected to leverage strong writing and creative content development skills, effective project management and attention to detail in executing on marketing communications activities.
The level of duties and skills required are considered intermediate and will be performed under appropriate supervision and in close collaboration with a dynamic team to build positive relationships with internal stakeholders. This position does not have direct reports.
Your Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes content marketing strategies on all channels (e.g., owned, shared, paid, earned) in support of marketing communications plans.
  • Implements and synthesizes data-driven insights, both to inform the communications strategy and package campaign results for use in reporting and optimizing campaign effectiveness.
  • Builds project plans, coordinates content reviews and approvals, proactively manages the process to meet deadlines.
  • Designs creative content for various media
  • Supports internal brand awareness and education efforts
  • Works closely with sales to support customer engagements
  • Partners with market research, analytics, customer support and sales to align on customer needs and customer experience.
  • Plans and executes customer webinars and events (e.g., logistics and materials).
  • Supports the development of project status reports/campaign reports, budget documentation and presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Supports industry conference strategy and logistics through brand visibility opportunities, collateral development, etc.
  • Supports working relationships with internal stakeholders.


Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Basic knowledge of digital content strategy and key channels (e.g., website, email, social media, paid media), corporate communications, B2B marketing principles and practices.
  • Strong command of written communications, including AP style, and ability to synthesize complex topics and information.
  • Experience and aptitude to leverage marketing technology and creative software applications for email distribution, design and creative content, social media, and more.
  • Strong presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a complex, deadline-driven, geographically diverse, and matrixed organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail.


Additional Requirements:

  • This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in office.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take approximately two months to be completed.
