The Role

Position Summary

The Marketing Communications Manager is the overall lead in integrating business unit priorities and sales targets into an end-to-end marketing plan from ATL to BTL. The role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing communication strategies that increase brand awareness, engage customers, and drive business growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong emphasis on content management, event activation, public relations, influencer marketing and digital marketing with multiple external agencies. This role will align with business unit PICs and collaborate with the corporate marketing function leads to incorporate plans into the bigger marketing ecosystem.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Lead strategic development and implementation of marketing campaigns from ATL to BTL

2. Spearhead effective collaboration with the corporate marketing on channel strategy, media planning, PR planning, KOL strategy, CRM planning, OOH planning and social content development.

3. Responsible for creative and social assets aligned with business unit priorities, branding guidelines and total marketing strategy.

4. Leads budgeting, insighting, and communication strategy in alignment with business unit and corporate marketing.

5. Produce content briefs and reports: Social channel content management, analyze monthly reports and quarterly social data to derive insight for development of campaigns.

6. Effective communication skills which is vital in setting clear directions across different stakeholders

7. Excellent in project management and execution across multiple campaigns and projects

8. Cross-functional collaboration and leadership in campaign management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Development: Create and implement comprehensive marketing communications strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
Campaign Management: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, monitor performance metrics, and optimize campaigns based on results.
Asset Development: Develop compelling content for various channels, including websites, social channels, CRM, PR, and marketing collaterals in accordance with global branding guidelines
Brand Management: Ensure consistency in brand identity messaging across all communication platforms and marketing materials.
Digital Marketing: Collaborate with Digital Marketing team to implement digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media campaigns, and CRM.
Public Relations: Collaborate with PR lead in managing media relations, press releases, and PR events to enhance brand’s public image.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product marketing, sales, and corporate marketing to ensure cohesive communication strategies.
Market Research: Collaborate with the Consumer and Market Insights Lead in analyzing market data to identify opportunities and trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing communications budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimization across channels

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in marketing communications, with a focus on developing and implementing strategic communication plans across various channels preferably from similar consumer goods industries, e-commerce, or marketing firms
  • Experience in advertising or PR agency preferred
  • Relevant experience in developing and executing an integrated marketing plan in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Effective communication skills
  • Project management, cross-functional collaboration and leadership
  • Must be willing to work on-site daily at McKinley, Taguig
