The Marketing & Communications Intern will support the marketing team in executing content, branding, and communication initiatives across digital and internal platforms. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional healthcare marketing environment, allowing the intern to develop practical skills in media marketing, content creation, and brand communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels

  • Support content creation for websites, blogs, social media, and internal communications

  • Help draft and edit marketing materials including emails, flyers, and promotional content

  • Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and audience insights

  • Assist with social media planning, scheduling, and performance tracking

  • Support SEO initiatives, including keyword research and content optimization

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for marketing strategies and campaigns

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining marketing assets and content libraries

  • Support internal communication efforts, including employee engagement initiatives

Supervision & Support

  • The intern will report directly to our Digital Marketing Manager and will also receive mentorship and strategic guidance from the Chief Marketing Officer

  • Ongoing mentorship and guidance will be provided to support professional development

  • The intern will receive a mid-term and final performance evaluation, which will be shared with the faculty supervisor

  • The organization will participate in a scheduled video visitation with the faculty supervisor

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Communications Media (Media Marketing concentration or related field)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Interest in marketing, branding, and digital media

  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and marketing tools

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Pay Range: $18.00 / hourly
