What You’ll Do: 

As a Marketing Intern at Marmon Industrial Energy & Infrastructure, you’ll dive into the dynamic world of marketing, supporting key initiatives in our 2025 plan. You’ll develop technical skills to create digital assets, manage deadlines, and collaborate with team members to drive brand awareness. By contributing to the Branding Migration Project and creating sales enablement tools like technical data sheets for our High-Temperature Product Line, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing sales and shaping the future of our brand.

What You’ll Need: 

• Enrollment in a four (4) year accredited university ‘Pursuit of a business degree, with a focus on marketing is preferred.   
• Skilled in Adobe In-Design, Canva, Hootsuite, Excel, GOPRO, Editing and similar platforms
• Ability to work a hybrid workweek split between the home office and on-site.
• Possess an initiative-taking desire to learn and succeed. 
• Mature judgment; common sense and disciplined approach to problematic issues.  
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written. 
• Demonstrate ability to interface appropriately with all levels of the organization and follow-up on open issues, as appropriate.
• Commitment to safety. 
• Ability to work long hours in a sedentary position sitting, talking, looking at a computer, charts/graphs and performing repetitive motions.
• Attention to detail, Strong Organizational Skills, Ability to effectively communicate cross-departmentally.
• Ability to move objects and materials of at least 25lbs.
• The ability to collaborate with manufacturing team members as needed in an environment that can be noisy.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE when onsite. 

Compensation: 

• $19.00-$22.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background 

Work Hours/Length of Program: 

• The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August 
• Temporary Part/Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week 
• Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business 
• This is a paid internship 

Working Conditions and Physical Demands: 

This position is based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and involves working in a manufacturing environment/general exposure to a manufacturing environment. The environment may involve exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. Employees are required to abide by PPE guidelines when onsite.

• Successful completion of a drug screening and a physical exam are required for this role 
• This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking. 
• May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time. 
• Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. 
• May involve moving or lifting items up to 25pounds
• Ability to work in a manufacturing setting
