Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate marketing professional based in Cairns who thrives on initiative, enjoys working across multiple projects and understands how powerful stories can shape customer engagement. You'll work closely with product, reservations, sales and marketing teams to deliver meaningful communications that connect travellers with some of Australia's and the world's most remarkable destinations.

From crafting email campaigns and website content to guest communications, media support and campaign execution, you'll play a central role in telling the Coral Expeditions story and inspiring future travellers.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves travel, culture, history, nature and human connection—and can translate those passions into engaging content that resonates with our audience of experienced, curious and highly engaged travellers.

What You'll Do 

  • Write and edit clear, engaging copy for websites, email newsletters, press releases, social media, and brochure collateral in line with brand guidelines and customer profile.
  • Work with Customer and Product teams to ensure up to date and correct information across all communication channels.
  • Work with Brand to ensure all copy is line with brand guidelines and accurately tells the Coral Expeditions story.
  • Ensure marketing and reservations database is up to date and clean.
  • Appropriately segment and prepare data for email sends
  • Be confident analysing data and providing insights and recommendations
  • Plan and execute communication elements of marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with overarching company goals and brand guidelines.
  • Track ROI on activity and report performance to business through dashboards and reports
  • Prepare guest communications which are accurate, engaging and convey the Coral Expeditions voice. These will span customer journey lifecycle.
  • Utilising tools such as Google Analytics and Mailchimp will be able to provide meaningful reporting and analysis to the broader commercial team.
