Job Description Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Communication Support professional to join our team. This role will assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, content creation, internal and external communications, event coordination, and digital initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, creative thinker, and highly organized individual with a passion for brand storytelling and marketing strategy.
1. To manage digital media activities
2. Creation of sales collaterals and digital content
3. To provide support to the Marketing & Communication team in the organization of events and meetings

Job Description

Responsibilities

You manage social media activities and execute the communications plan/ strategy. You support the creation, updating and printing of presentations and collateral materials. You organize regional sales and marketing events for small regional shows by coordinating with key stakeholders. You take a lead in the organization of regional trade fairs (e.g. hotel reservations, amenities, etc). You take care of the logistics for the global marketing events. You are responsible for the internal communication of the Performance Specialties initiatives. You collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience includes social media content creation, location logistics, collecting/follow-up on materials for presentation and launches, copywriting, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and working with internal communications.

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, Communication, Design or equivalent. Experience: Entry level role, experience in Marketing or Communication roles in the chemical industry is a plus. IT Skills: Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Vimeo or similar and MS Office Suite, experience in CRM is a plus. Language Skills: Fluent in English, additional languages are considered a plus. Working arrangements: Minimum three days per week in the Porto office. Traveling required: No regular travelling expected.
