Description

Marketing & Communications Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Strategist to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communication programs across a growing portfolio of service lines. This role is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities, building and executing strategic plans, and delivering clear, compelling messages that support organizational growth, brand consistency, and internal alignment.

This position will serve a key role in translating enterprise strategy into effective marketing and communication initiatives and requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in brand development, content strategy, and multi-channel communications, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. This individual will play a critical role in shaping how we communicate—both externally to our customers and internally across our organization—and takes ownership of projects from concept through completion.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications, a member of the executive leadership team.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Must work on-site at the Farmington Hills, MI corporate office
  • Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies aligned with organizational and service line priorities.
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to understand needs and deliver effective, timely solutions.
  • Create and oversee high-quality content, including messaging frameworks, campaign materials, and internal/external communications.
  • Support brand development efforts and ensure consistency across all materials and channels.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across service lines, driving timelines, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Support the development of scalable marketing infrastructure, tools, and processes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in brand development, messaging, and professional writing.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design principles and ability to guide visual execution.  Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Agency experience preferred, with a proven ability to manage multiple “clients” or business units.
  • Healthcare knowledge is a plus, particularly in complex, multi-audience environments.
  • Must be comfortable operating as an individual contributor responsible for both strategy support and execution.
