Role and Responsibilities

The Marketing Communications specialist will ensure that all activities in the area of marketing communications are in line with the company and brand policy. He or she is translating the marketing strategy defined by HQ into B2B & B2C channel and vertical execution/activities, in collaboration with sales, product management and the European Headquarters.
Channel Management

Set up strategy for best in class channel management plans. Coordination, optimization and follow up of the running campaigns and promotions together with our partners. Ensure consistency in messaging & results and maximize Samsung Identity in all activities. Negotiate & manage the coop (joint channel) budget.

Campaigns, promotions and agency management
First point of contact for external agencies for awareness campaigns and sales promotions (agency management). Coordination and follow up of the running campaigns and promotions. Translate all Sales & Marketing related objectives into consumer and marketing promotions in line with the Samsung Identity.
External & division meetings
Follow up on status and outcome of the campaigns and promotions for Management about the running campaigns and promotions. Attend Sales and Marketing team meeting, and join meetings with partners, resellers, installers.
Budget Management
Closely collaborate with budget controller and work with the marketing manager/ product manager of a division, including forecasting, cost analyses and ROI. Also follow up on COOP budget of partners.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar environment

  • Bachelor degree / Master degree

  • Marketing background

  • B2B & B2C experience

  • Experience with technical products is an advantage

  • Bilingual; Czech (or Slovak) and English

  • Consumer oriented thinking

  • Excel knowledge

  • Adobe SW (inDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator) knowledge as advantage
