The hiring range for this opportunity is $92,180 to $115,220 annual salary with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Communications Manager implements marketing communications plans, budgets, and projects across traditional and digital advertising, media planning, direct marketing, public relations, merchandising, sales support, and customer communications. This role reports to the Director of Brand and Marketing Strategy and coordinates the work of in-house graphic designers, internal partners, marketing communications vendors, and external agencies. The Marketing Communications Manager supports business lines, sales management, and product managers to help achieve business objectives and profitable bank performance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops annual marketing communications plans that align with bank goals, business unit strategies, and Marketing and Product Management objectives.
  • Coordinates with interdepartmental teams, internal cross-functional partners, and external vendors to achieve established marketing communication objectives.
  • Reviews and ensures marketing communications materials align with brand standards, brand tone, and regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Tracks and analyzes campaign performance and return on investment (ROI), reporting results to senior leadership.
  • Develops and reviews all materials to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal banking rules and regulations, working closely with Compliance and
  • Training to maintain adherence to procedures and policies. Manages Compliance and Legal review of all customer-facing materials.
  • Maintains a current understanding of bank policies and applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC, Regulation B (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act, Regulation Z (TILA), Regulation DD (TISA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), FDIC NDIP rules, SAFE Act, CAN-SPAM Act, Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and UDAAP.
  • Adheres to and recommends improvements to marketing communications processes, procedures, accounting practices, and results monitoring.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and presents new opportunities and approaches to enhance the effectiveness of marketing communications.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field is required
  • 5 to 8 years of marketing or advertising experience with demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital marketing communications
  • Experience in a corporate marketing environment preferred
  • Banking or financial services experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of finance, including understanding return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives
  • Proficient knowledge of traditional and digital marketing communications, media planning, and campaign performance evaluation
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing-related regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Occasional travel required
