Marketing Category Manager – Cloud Solutions

About the Job

At Ingram Micro, our Marketing Vendor Category team plays a key role in driving growth and value by creating and executing go-to-market strategies that align with vendor business objectives. We help our vendors maximize their reach and profitability through strategic marketing initiatives, digital expertise, data-driven insights, and expert project management.

We’re looking for a Marketing Category Manager, Program Manager – Cloud Solutions to join this dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead marketing excellence across a portfolio of Cloud vendors. You may take direct ownership of one primary Cloud vendor while ensuring strategic alignment and visibility across the wider Cloud vendor portfolio. The focus will be on developing and supporting the execution of Cloud-specific marketing strategies, while ensuring close alignment between vendor objectives and internal stakeholders.

What your role as a Marketing Category Manager will involve:

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for one or more Cloud vendors.
  • Lead multiple Cloud-related marketing projects simultaneously.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and vendor marketing contacts.
  • Align marketing strategy to vendor objectives, with a focus on growth, activation, and recurring revenue.
  • Promote full use of Ingram Micro’s marketing capabilities and Xvantage to deliver vendor success.
  • Develop, align, and consolidate Cloud marketing plans tied to vendor goals and Ingram Micro priorities.
  • Define clear scope, milestones, and deliverables for each campaign.
  • Lead execution of campaigns across digital, demand generation, partner enablement, and awareness.
  • Adjust project priorities as needed to reflect changing vendor or market conditions.
  • Track progress and ensure performance targets, budgets, and delivery timelines are met.
  • Share actionable insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Support vendor-facing reporting needs with clear KPIs and ROI-driven insights.
  • Ensure tracking mechanisms are in place from planning to post-campaign analysis.

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience

  • Experience in Cloud marketing or working with Cloud vendors in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing effective marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and vendor relationships.
  • Analytical capabilities and experience in campaign performance tracking.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work confidently across different teams and levels.
  • Ability to turn vendor goals into actionable, well-executed marketing plans.
  • Familiarity with integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing, and content planning.
