Marketing Automation Specialist

And we’re looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to start immediately!
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Build and deploy simple drip or nurture email campaigns
2. Maintain subscriber lists/databases; ensure data hygiene (removing duplicates, ensuring proper tags)
3. Assist with tracking and tagging (UTMs, campaign parameters)
4. Monitor automation performance metrics: open rates, click-through, conversion in simple flows
5. Troubleshoot basic issues: e.g. broken links in emails, automation not firing as expected
6. Coordinate with design/content team for email templates / landing page assets
7. Design and manage full customer lifecycle automation programs (welcome sequences, retention, upsell, reactivation)
8. Implement and optimize drip / triggered flows based on user behavior or lifecycle stage
9. Integrate CRM or customer data platforms with other tools (web tracking, events)
10. Analyze performance of automation programs; recommend improvements (e.g. improved segmentation, 11. personalization)
11. Train or guide junior staff or interns on best automation practices
12. Ownership of automation documentation: SOPs, monitoring dashboards
13. Define the automation / martech roadmap for the company: what new tools, integrations, or processes are needed
14. Design and oversee predictive workflows (e.g. lead scoring, propensity modeling)
15. Ensure data infrastructure is robust (data accuracy, integration, real-time events)
16. Mentor/lead a team of automation / operations specialists
17. Lead cross-departmental projects: for example, personalization across email, web, app; automation of retention, loyalty programs
18. Regular auditing and optimization of workflows, with strong metrics tied to ROI (revenue uplift, cost savings)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in any field or professional certification in marketing or business-related courses
• 2+ years experience in social media or 1-2 years in digital marketing
• Proven content writing or copywriting experience
• Working knowledge of content management systems
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (at least B2 level)
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Knowledgeable in layouts, typography, print, and web design
• Experience/Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Able to work on a graveyard shift
Technical Requirements:

• Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps cable connection
• Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps

Schedule: US work hours (20-40 hours per week)
