Marketing Automation Platform Master

Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Automation Platform Master to lead the operation, implementation, and strategic development of internal and external marketing automation platforms, including Marketing Cloud and Mailbee. This role serves as the team’s counterpart for the Marketing Cloud pillar, collaborating in parallel with PMs from other clouds such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The platform’s users are marketing colleagues worldwide, spanning both business-unit marketing teams and overseas subsidiary (RBU) marketing teams. The role’s core mission is to leverage marketing automation systems and AI technology to improve operational efficiency and lead quality across the global marketing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of marketing automation platforms, including Marketing Cloud (MCAE, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and Mailbee, and lead implementation and go-live for new Regional Business Units (RBUs).
  • Produce global Marketing Performance Reports covering key metrics such as send performance, lead counts, and New Contact Acquisition by region, providing a data foundation for decision-making across the global marketing team.
  • Plan and maintain the annual Global Event ID framework, connecting online campaigns with offline exhibitions, and integrating marketing automation systems, CRM, the Worldwide Exhibition Report, and marketing expense ROI estimation tools.
  • Lead the redesign of the Marketing Automation Portal and the development of AI agents, building a one-stop platform for global marketing performance lookup, social media copy generation, and marketing asset generation, to enhance the self-service experience for marketing colleagues worldwide.
  • Establish and refine the lead quality scoring mechanism (a dual-track IDP scoring system) that combines cumulative scoring with an ABC rating scale to assess lead follow-up value, improving lead conversion efficiency.
  • Plan and execute multi-wave email/send playbooks, providing marketing automation support tailored to each RBU.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and IT, and communicate and collaborate with overseas marketing teams to ensure platform capabilities meet both global and local marketing needs.
  • Work in parallel with other cloud-specific PMs (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) within the Salesforce multi-cloud platform PM team; this position carries no people management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Information Management, Business Administration, Marketing Management, Business Communication, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Consultant), or hands-on experience operating and implementing marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, HubSpot, Eloqua).
  • Strong logical thinking and data sensitivity, with proficiency in MS Excel for advanced data analysis and the ability to use PowerPoint to build persuasive proposals.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated cross-functional coordination and integration experience.
  • Proficient in English (CEFR B2 / IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL iBT 85 / TOEIC 855 or above), with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language. Fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to conduct business meetings and cross-border communication seamlessly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
  • Strong interest in and implementation experience with AI/GenAI technologies (e.g., Agentforce, generative AI marketing asset tools), with hands-on experience applying AI to marketing automation workflows (e.g., portal redesign, AI agent development).
  • Experience in B2B enterprise digital transformation or marketing technology (MarTech) project execution.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or technology B2B industry.
  • Proficiency in a second foreign language.

Skills Required
