The Role

You could call it Marketing Automation Engineer but we’re looking for a web personalization ninja.
 

The MarTech tribe at If P&C Insurance is taking the next step in omni-channel, real-time and personalized customer communications. We’re using Bloomreach Engagement, APIs and Frontend personalization capabilities to create tailored customer experiences of high relevance.


About the job

As a Marketing Automation Engineer, you’ll design and develop solutions in the Bloomreach Engagement CDP (Customer Data Platform) with front-end personalization features, APIs and webhooks. Your role will be key in shaping our real-time, omni-channel customer personalisation. You’ll join an easy-going Nordic team of developers who make this happen and have fun while doing it.

You'll have a high degree of freedom together with your squad members in developing our Bloomreach Engagement platform to develop and support various use cases within web personalization, including In-App, Web, Email and sms personalization, Weblayers, Experiments, Surveys, Tags, A/B testing and API-driven interactions with multiple online and offline communication channels.

You take pride in choosing the most appropriate personalization services given the overall customer journey and experience. You will become an ambassador for “best practice” personalization towards the teams working with the channels. You understand how to connect events to customer profiles to enable intelligent orchestration of communications in any channel.

We practice agile and DevOps in our day-to-day life. We pride ourselves in improving Marketing Automation solutions in Bloomreach Engagement with sound engineering principles including rigorous testing of features. We love Tech!

We work closely with business stakeholders like web development teams, web analysts and marketeers to make this happen.

Who are you?

You’re passionate about frontend personalization and APIs, have experience from real-time personalization using tools like Bloomreach Engagement, Insider, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Marketo Engage. You love frontend development both for App, Web and Email personalization using HTML, CSS, javascript, Jinja, AMP script or similar languages. Testing personalized experiences on devices, browser types and email clients is a natural part of your development using tools like Litmus. Creating APIs and consuming them is a solid part of your personalization palette and the security engineering and personal integrity aspects that goes with it.

It’s a big bonus if you have experience working with Web analytics and tools like Google Analytics 4 or Adobe Analytics.

Experience in languages like C# or Python is a definite merit and also ALM tools like Azure DevOps or Github Flow.


You also have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Software engineering or equivalent experience

  • Excellent English language and communication skills (oral and written)
