We are looking for a detail‑oriented Marketing Automation Coordinator to support our marketing automation efforts by ensuring work requests are clearly defined, technically sound, and delivered with a high level of quality. This role works closely with marketing requesters and the Marketing Automation execution team to translate business needs into clear requirements and to provide final QA approval on assets built in Marketo.
This is not a hands‑on build role. Instead, the Marketing Automation Coordinator serves as a technical reviewer, intake partner, and quality gatekeeper, ensuring all Marketo assets meet requirements, standards, and best practices before launch.
What You’ll Do
Intake & Requirements Clarification
Review incoming marketing requests to ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and actionable
Partner with requesters to clarify objectives, targeting, timing, and dependencies
Identify gaps, risks, or constraints early and work with stakeholders to resolve them
Approve or redirect requests before they enter the execution queue
Marketo QA & Approval
Perform detailed QA of assets built in Marketo, including emails and programs
Validate builds against documented requirements, templates, and operational standards
Review personalization, tokens, segmentation logic, and configuration accuracy
Own final QA sign‑off and approval prior to launch
Provide clear, actionable feedback to builders when updates are required
Collaboration & Communication
Act as the primary liaison between marketing requesters and the Marketing Automation execution team
Translate business needs into clear operational direction
Communicate expectations, risks, and constraints related to Marketo capabilities
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or email operations
Strong working knowledge of Marketo, including program structure, tokens, personalization, and segmentation concepts
Experience reviewing and QA‑ing marketing automation assets
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with formal intake or ticketing systems
Familiarity with email compliance and deliverability best practices
Experience supporting cross‑functional marketing teams
