Position Summary
River Wealth Advisors, a wealth management firm based in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Marketing Associate. This role supports the firm’s growth and brand elevation by managing events, social media content, coordinating marketing and communications projects with external vendors, and client communications.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and executing in-person and virtual events, including webinars, panel discussions, intimate client gatherings, small client appreciation events and a large holiday party.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as vendor communication, venue setup, collateral, registration, and post-event follow-up.
  • Track event budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution.
Social Media Management
  • Create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook and LinkedIn), particularly earned media content from interviews.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and maintain brand consistency.
  • Track analytics and provide monthly reporting to support strategy improvements.
  • Assist with developing new social campaigns and trends relevant to the business.
Writing & Content Creation
  • Draft and edit a variety of marketing materials, including blog posts, email newsletters and targeted communications, website content, and tear sheets about our service offerings.
  • Ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and tailored to the appropriate audience.
  • Assist in proofreading marketing materials and ensuring high editorial quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Background in professional services
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience with event coordination and logistics
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Basic graphic design or Canva skills a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
