Role Overview:

Ankura is seeking an Associate for its US Marketing & Communications team.

We are looking for a dependable, client service-oriented marketing associate with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. The Marketing associate can expect to work closely with marketing managers and providing support, including event planning, copy review, and following trends.

For this role, you must understand the importance of confidentiality, stay up-to-date with corporate style guides and marketing trends, and be an excellent writer and speaker. The ideal candidate for this position will be extremely organized  with strong administrative skills, positive attitude and outlook, and experience with relevant technology, including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel programs. This position will support both the events team as well as strategic marketing for our business groups.  This is a hybrid based role located in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Event/conference team member

  • Help to source unique venues for events and Ankura swag items

  • Support for the marketing team.

  • Assist in developing content for social media campaigns.

  • Communicating with clients and maintaining good relations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt and be flexible

  • Team player

  • Strong people skills and communicator

  • Strong writer and copy-editor.

  • Excellent marketing and administrative software skills.

  • Creativity

  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, MS Office Suite, LinkedIn

  • Willingness for minimal travel (estimated 2-3 times a year)

  • For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Ankura, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $50,000 to $120,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
