As a Marketing Assistant at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will be responsible for making meaningful moments for associates, customers, and potential owners. As a Marketing Assistant, you will perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., auditing, reporting, filing, sending emails, typing, sending outgoing faxes, delivering incoming faxes, copying, opening, or distributing mail). Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly. Audit, record, and report metrics to manager/supervisor on a daily basis. Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and electronic filing systems related to Call Center activities (e.g., activations). Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.

This position requires computer proficiency and the ability to swiftly navigate multiple systems/applications to access and accurately input data into proper fields, typically, while using multiple computer monitors.

You will add to the success of the MVW team by maintaining high standards and providing the best service. You will need to have a flexible schedule, communicate clearly with coworkers and guests, and follow the company's rules in all situations. This position may require a background check and or drug screen contingent on company policy and state and local requirements. Specific job duties may differ by property, size of team, or facility. Job Requirements:

Physical Ability — Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

Work Schedules — Maintain availability to work a fluctuating schedule, based on business needs, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education, Certification, or Licenses Preferred – High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent Needed. Reservations, Sales and/or Customer Service-related work experience is preferred but not required. Proficiency in English (additional language required for certain positions)

Essential Functions

Safety and Security

■ Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.

Assists Management

■ Assist management in preparing the payroll of hourly associates (e.g., ensure accuracy, adjustments, and distribution).

■ Communicate with others using clear, appropriate, and professional language.

■ Prepare and review written documents (e.g., daily logs, business letters, memoranda, reports), including proofreading and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

■ Speak to guests and coworkers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.

■ Provides assistance to coworkers, ensuring they understand their tasks.

■ Use excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively exchange information.

Sales

■ Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., auditing, reporting, filing, sending emails, typing, sending outgoing faxes, delivering incoming faxes, copying, opening or distributing mail).

■ Maintain business rules for each resort and ownership accounts.

■ Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
