Position Overview

The Marketing Assistant – Operations plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of creative marketing projects, B2B product launches, and product sampling programs across Hunter Douglas Australia. This role combines hands-on creative design with project coordination and operational marketing support to ensure marketing assets, product communications, and sampling materials are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget.

Working closely with the Marketing, Product, Sales, and external supplier teams, this role contributes to bringing new products to market while maintaining a high standard of visual execution, stakeholder communication, and customer experience across both digital and print channels.

What you'll do

  • Deliver creative design projects across digital, print, social media, video, EDMs, website, POS, and event collateral in line with Hunter Douglas brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate and execute B2B product launches, including brochures, sampling, photography, videography, website content, newsletters, and dealer communications.
  • Manage end-to-end product sampling projects, including supplier coordination, artwork creation, inventory management, approvals, distribution, and cost tracking.
  • Create and edit engaging visual and video content while maintaining high visual quality and consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, print vendors, and marketing partners to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain and update digital assets, portal content, databases, product information, and online sampling platforms to ensure all information remains current and accurate.
  • Support marketing operations through budget administration, invoicing, reporting, purchase orders, and general team administration activities.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Who you are

  • Diploma or tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related discipline (Degree highly regarded).
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a marketing, design, or creative operations role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement capability.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating digital, print, and video marketing content across multiple channels.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a willingness to contribute new ideas.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; experience with HubSpot or DAM platforms is advantageous.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work autonomously and build strong working relationships across departments and external partners.
