The Role

DESCRIPTION:

The Marketing Intern will gain valuable business experience while helping develop, monitor and support the strategic marketing initiatives that promote Ashcroft products and improve the customer digital experience. Opportunities will include analyzing campaign performance, enhancing lead-generation programs, and accelerating content development to promote on the Ashcroft website and social channels, thereby increasing engagement and leads. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to integrated B2B marketing while developing core skills in analytics, content creation and campaign execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital & Campaign Support:  Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to help develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives, including but not limited to website updates, SEO/AEO optimization, target list requests, tradeshow support, lead generation activity and monitoring campaign performance analytics.

Content & Creative Support:

  • Assist marketing team with creating graphics and video content for the Ashcroft website and social media channels, including sales and product collateral, ensuring brand guidelines are met.
  • Assist content team with sourcing stock photos and footage, capturing photos and b-roll footage, as well as interviewing appropriate staff and/or clients.
  • Provide creative workflow project management support using SharePoint to optimize workflow and procedures for efficiency and project completion.
  • Proofread and edit creative and technical content across different media.

Event & Program Execution:  Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs, including experiential (tradeshow and webinar) coordination support.

Analytics & Research:

  • Assist in analyzing and reporting on the performance and efficiency of marketing programs; summarize insights and opportunities for optimization for the marketing team.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or journalism
  • 1-2 years of experience via college, clubs or personal projects to promote activities, create video and written content, manage websites and social media channels, and analyze program performance.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new platforms and assist with AI-enabled marketing tools under team guidance
  • Demonstrated curiosity, professionalism and willingness to learn in a fast-paced marketing environment
  • Familiar with website CMS (e.g. WordPress), CRM systems (HubSpot and/or Salesforce) and developing content in various formats across multiple channels, including editing and design software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign or Canva)
  • Understand the fundamentals of branding and follow brand guidelines
  • Continuous learner that deals well with criticism and collects feedback easily
  • Effective prioritization, organization, and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills with heavy attention to detail
