Position Overview

Our client is a well-established U.S.-based freight brokerage company with over 15 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry. They are looking for a highly creative Marketing Coordinator who can develop engaging content, grow their digital presence, and help position the business as a trusted industry leader.

This is a hands-on marketing role focused on execution. You'll be responsible for creating compelling content, managing LinkedIn and email marketing campaigns, producing marketing collateral, tracking campaign performance, and supporting ongoing brand awareness initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a creative marketer who understands how to market a service-based business, can produce content that captures attention quickly, and enjoys bringing fresh ideas to every campaign.

ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Digital Marketing
  • Create engaging LinkedIn content that increases followers, impressions, and audience engagement.
  • Develop creative marketing campaigns that communicate the company's freight and logistics services.
  • Produce high-quality marketing collateral, including newsletters, promotional emails, presentations, brochures, and sales materials.
  • Design visually engaging content using Canva and other creative tools.
  • Create short-form videos and AI-assisted marketing content for digital platforms.
  • Write compelling marketing copy with strong calls to action tailored to a B2B audience.
Social Media Management
  • Manage and maintain the company's LinkedIn presence.
  • Schedule and publish content across digital platforms.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
  • Identify relevant industry trends and create timely, engaging content around them.
Email Marketing
  • Create and distribute email marketing campaigns using platforms such as GoHighLevel or similar marketing software.
  • Develop promotional campaigns highlighting freight lanes, logistics solutions, and company services.
  • Build newsletters that educate, engage, and generate business opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.
Marketing Coordination
  • Assist with planning and executing marketing initiatives throughout the year.
  • Coordinate marketing activities while leadership is travelling, ensuring campaigns continue to run smoothly.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure marketing aligns with business priorities and sales objectives.
  • Organise marketing assets and maintain consistency across all communication channels.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Monitor campaign performance across LinkedIn, email marketing, and digital channels.
  • Track key metrics including impressions, engagement, click-through rates, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to improve marketing performance.

Requirements
    • 2+ years' experience in a Marketing Coordinator, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, or similar role.
    • Marketing / Digital Marketing Qualification 
    • Experience marketing a service-based business in a B2B environment.
    • Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
    • Excellent Canva skills with the ability to create polished marketing materials.
    • Experience using AI tools to enhance content creation and produce short-form video content.
    • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zoho or similar.
    • Experience managing LinkedIn business pages and growing engagement.
    • Strong understanding of social media best practices and digital marketing principles.
    • Comfortable interpreting marketing analytics and making data-driven improvements.
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
