The Marketing Analyst is responsible for the implementation, execution, and day-to-day management of student recruitment efforts through cost-per-inquiry online advertising partners such as education directories, portals and affiliates. Primary responsibility is to manage external partners to achieve inquiry and student outcome goals within targeted budget and quality parameters. Key responsibilities include reporting and monitoring inquiry volume as well as compliance, budget management, vendor management, forecasting.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact with online affiliate partners as it relates to volume, inquiry pacing, conversion, and forecasting.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including compliance, legal, and brand marketing to ensure CEC brands are optimized and properly represented
  • Remain current with and possess a thorough understanding of available online and offline advertising and Marketing vehicles as well as measurement tools and methodologies.
  • Manage CPL and affiliate campaign lifecycle -- once new partners are approved, utilize new campaign launch process (from content development to post-launch assessment) to implement and launch according to established timeline. Conduct competitive analysis to find additional CPL and affiliate partner sites, and make recommendations for establishing new relationships.
  • Research and recommend potential advertising opportunities with existing CPL, affiliates and vertical market sites, such as emails, microsites, banner placement, etc. to drive overall goals
  • Work with internal departments, such as IT and Web Strategies, to ensure accurate partner set up, format and delivery for inquiries. Manage all administrative, compliance, and operational processes and procedures to successfully approve, implement and launch new campaigns. 
  • Partner with Brand Marketing Managers to audit and update online partner micro-sites in a timely fashion to ensure accuracy and maintain compliance with Business Practices Committee (BPC) standards.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing Managers and Creative team to develop messaging and creative assets for campaigns and coordinate on-time trafficking to partners.
  • Track and audit accuracy of online partner invoicing, identify and resolve inconsistencies to ensure timely payment and prevent disruption of lead flow. 
  • Compile and analyze weekly and monthly data to optimize campaigns to ensure inquiry targets are achieved while keeping cost per acquisition metrics within goals
  • Participate in annual and quarterly business planning and forecasting to assist with accurately forecasting partner performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience (minimum)

  • Bachelor's Degree

Education & Experience (preferred)

  • 1 year in marketing, media, education & advertising

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities to formulate hypotheses regarding business/marketing dynamics and use facts and data to support recommended courses of action.
  • Experience in marketing and/or sales operational management, i.e. ability to manage daily marketing processes and activities.
  • Experience in budget development and management.
  • Strong sense of presence; able to support ideas and recommendations with relevant facts.
  • Ability to effectively evaluate potential risk/reward and use sound business judgment when making decisions.
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Office suite, advanced skills with Microsoft

Between $49,600 to $83,000 annually
