About the role
We’re looking for a Marketing Analyst to own their region’s growth roadmap to help leadership make faster, smarter decisions on where to direct effort and budget across marketing channels. You’ll turn performance data into clear, executive-ready insights, improve forecasting, and provide guidance on budget allocation.
This role is highly cross-functional and is designed for someone who can deliver insights for leadership asks under tight deadlines with strong data storytelling.
What you’ll do here:
Growth roadmap ownership
- Build and maintain a prioritized growth roadmap across channels and regions, informed by analysis.
- Convert weekly/monthly insights into themes (scale, maintain, fix, test, pause) with recommendations.
- Keep roadmap and forecasts aligned: update expected outcomes as investments change and document assumptions.
- Partner with channel owners and teams (BI/Analytics, Finance, Legal/Compliance, IT, AI Marketing) to confirm feasibility, dependencies, and measurement; ensure clear ownership post-approval.
Executive reporting & storytelling
- Deliver weekly/monthly performance reporting with a clear narrative: what happened, why, and what’s next.
- Turn ad-hoc executive requests around quickly.
- Create concise, decision-ready memos/decks that translate data into recommendations.
Performance deep dives
- Analyze performance by channel, line of business, and brand; recommend where to increase, maintain, or reduce spend.
- Assess incremental spend vs. plan and advise on next actions.
- Identify risks/opportunities tied to attribution limits, tracking gaps, data latency, and cost-to-revenue matching.
Forecasting & planning
- Support maintaining an Excel forecasting model for quotes and budgets by line of business and brand.
- Run monthly forecasts and refresh them when investment levels change.
- Support scenario planning (budget shifts across channels and impact on quotes/revenue) in partnership with AI Marketing team.
Cross-functional orchestration and governance
- Coordinate with Paid, SEO, CRO, Email, Telemarketing, BI/Analytics, AI Marketing, Lab, IT, Actuarial, Ops, Legal/Compliance) to scope, de-risk, and launch initiatives.
- Drive executive alignment, stakeholder communications, and change management.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years in marketing analytics, BI, performance analysis, or strategy/data consulting.
- Executive-ready communication and data storytelling (explain the “why” behind results).
- Strong prioritization; deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.
- Business judgment: connect analysis to decisions and outcomes.
- Advanced Excel (models, forecasting, scenario planning) and PowerPoint (clear, decision-oriented decks).
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
What success looks like:
- Executive reporting quality + speed: strong weekly/monthly narratives and timely turnaround on leadership requests.
- Budget impact: recommendations adopted that improve allocation across channels.
- Forecast reliability: monthly refreshes and updates when incremental investments change.
- Stakeholder outcomes: high satisfaction and reduced time-to-answer for priority requests.
