Responsibilities:
Global Forecast Management
- Work with global commercial team to set up and complete annual business planning
- Update 5 year forecast quarterly and update visualization charts/tables for commercial team accordingly
- Monthly actual sales and 3-month forecast update
- Actual price update
- Participate opportunities review, understand the program status and update opportunities accordingly to reflect the latest update
- Maintain the global master strategy file including all program details with both current and new opportunities update
- With vehicle powertrain data, understand the connection between vehicle and engine model/platform, work with commercial team to obtain information for mapping the data with our current business
- Identify next generation vehicle/engine model and programs/platform (for the next 5 years) which will support our future business strategy
- Support other teams with data/forecast in a timely manner
Capacity Management
- Monthly/quarterly track and update capacity charts using updated global forecast file
Market Size Analysis
- Monthly global vehicle forecast/charts data, market trend update
- Attend monthly webinars and summarize the info and share with team
- Market research regarding the global market trend, global and regional regulation requirements, competitor product info, new tech requirements
- Update global market size, understand Alkegen share and competitor share in the market
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical degree is required, experience with commercial team/program management is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred, automotive industry preferred
- Experience managing large and complex sets of data is necessary, along with the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders across all regions of the world
- Experience working within a cross-functional team with interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in culturally diverse cross-functional teams across business units
- Must be expert in Microsoft Excel including data pivots and complex manipulation using functions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be detail-oriented, pay strong attention to details and maintain data accuracy
- Experience extracting and loading data from ERP systems such as SAP
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience with visualization tools and reporting, such as Power BI or Tableau
- Passion for data driven decision making
- Be proactive, self-directed and goal-oriented
- Ability to react quickly to a fast-paced market, capable of handling multiple priorities
