Who We Are:

At Emburse, you’ll not just imagine the future – you’ll build it. As a leader in travel and expense solutions, we are creating a future where technology drives business value and inspires extraordinary results. Our AI-powered platform helps organizations modernize financial operations, increase visibility, and optimize spend across the enterprise.

The Marketing AI Engineer & Program Manager is a critical operations leadership role responsible for ensuring marketing programs, campaigns, and deliverables move efficiently from intake to impact. This role blends agency-style traffic management, marketing program oversight, and AI-powered workflow automation to align priorities, optimize resources, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Operating in a fast-paced, global SaaS FinTech environment, this individual partners closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive clarity, accountability, and results across Marketing’s portfolio.

What You Will Do

  • Own and operate Marketing’s end-to-end project intake, prioritization, and portfolio management, ensuring work is aligned to business goals, executive priorities, and customer journeys
  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize AI-driven workflows to automate scheduling, workload balancing, alerts, and stakeholder communications across tools like Asana, Jira, Slack, and Google Workspace
  • Stack-rank and re-prioritize a high volume of incoming marketing requests in a fast-paced, global, multi-product SaaS environment
  • Define marketing program objectives, KPIs, and tactical plans, and monitor progress using data-driven performance indicators
  • Forecast resource constraints using AI-powered alerts and collaborate with Marketing leadership to proactively resolve capacity, budget, or timeline risks
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external agencies to ensure seamless execution and delivery
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships to ensure contract compliance, on-time delivery, and efficient use of offshore and retained resources
  • Produce weekly executive- and board-ready reporting that clearly communicates measurable outcomes (pipeline, bookings, conversion, ROI) using data aggregated across multiple systems
  • Track time, spend, and overhead to support profitability analysis, operational improvements, and budget optimization
  • Lead, mentor, and develop two senior Marketing Operations professionals, fostering shared knowledge and operational excellence across the team

What You Will Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in agency traffic management, project management, or marketing operations, with program- or portfolio-level ownership
  • 2+ years of people management experience leading senior individual contributors
  • Hands-on experience building or managing AI-powered workflows and automation for scheduling, intake, reporting, or resource management
  • Strong command of modern marketing and operations tools such as Asana, Jira, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, and Google Analytics
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently with executive leadership and Private Equity stakeholders, using outcome-focused, data-driven insights
  • Demonstrated strength in prioritization, time management, and decision-making under pressure
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to define KPIs, evaluate program performance, and drive continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Who You Are

  • An execution-focused operations leader who thrives in complexity and brings order to fast-moving environments
  • Naturally pragmatic — you prioritize impact over process and solve problems with clarity and confidence
  • Comfortable saying “no” (or “not yet”) when priorities, capacity, or budgets require discipline
  • Energized by AI and automation, and constantly looking for smarter, faster ways to scale marketing operations
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence without authority across teams, levels, and time zones
  • Detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture and long-term business goals
  • Calm, credible, and confident when presenting insights to executives, boards, and senior stakeholders
