Company Description
BlueScope Recycling is a full-service, ferrous scrap metal recycler with processing facilities in Waterloo, IN, Delta, OH, and Mansfield, OH. BlueScope Recycling buys scrap from industrial generators, wholesale suppliers, and the general public, focusing on delivering the highest level of service.
Summary: Marketing Admins perform tasks related to contract entry. Day-to-day a Marketing Admin will enter data into database systems and will regularly update order status all while verifying that the data is accurate by comparing it to the source documents. This is an entry-level role that will work closely and support the Marking Admin Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interact with employees to verify/restrict duplication of purchases &/or sales.
- Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits.
- Verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, currenting any incompatibilities and checking output.
- Ensure good customer relations by acting in a courteous, safe, and professional manner.
- Communicate pricing information and material specifications to customers.
- Ability to connect well with all levels of customers and management.
- Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- They need to have superb attention to detail, which allows them to input accurate data and check their work to catch errors.
- Strong communication skills to successfully interact with employees, management, and customers.
- Strong writing skills to effectively complete paperwork.
- Data entry experience.
- Working knowledge of general office equipment.
- Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
