The Marketing Administrator is the Marketing team’s primary on-site representative at the Mandan plant and in the Bis-Man community, providing local support to colleagues working across multiple states and time zones.

Success in this role requires exceptional organization, communication, and relationship-building skills.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, and adaptable, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position is part of a small, collaborative marketing team whose members bring diverse experience and expertise.

This multifaceted role calls for someone who embodies Cloverdale’s core values of Family, Hungry, and Adventurer. The successful candidate will confidently use and improve existing processes, develop new systems when needed, and remain resourceful and flexible when information is limited.

The Marketing Administrator collaborates closely with remote teammates and cross-functional partners in Human Resources, Operations, Sales, and Senior Leadership. As a local brand ambassador, this individual manages community partnerships and charitable contributions throughout the Bis-Man area and responds to consumer inquiries with care, diplomacy, and urgency.

Office Environment: 90% of the work is conducted in an office setting, involving time spent on computer research, project management, and communication with team members and stakeholders. Frequent participation in both in-person and virtual meetings, including project updates, strategy sessions, and presentations to management and stakeholders.

Production Environment: 5% Visits to the production areas will involve exposure to machinery, noise, varying temperatures, humidity, and wet conditions.

Travel: <5% Occasional travel locally for events, training, meetings, conferences, etc.

Schedule: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on operational requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Consumer Affairs: 25%
  • Monitor CF Marketing and Blue Ribbon emails received via the website, and voicemails
  • Follow up directly to resolve (aka Whoopsie/Loyalty coupons) as needed
  • Create monthly summary reports and cascade Consumer Complaints to cross functional Operations team
  • Elevate concerns to Marketing leadership on sensitive issues, or greatly increased frequency/volume
  1. Social Media Creation, Scheduling and Monitoring: 20%
  • Schedule proactive Cloverdale branded posts in Later.com
  • Monitor post engagement
  • Elevate concerns to Marketing leadership on sensitive issues
  1. Corporate Responsibility: 15%
  • Coordinate existing corporate sponsorship and donations processes
  • Partner with the Country Store for fulfillment of product commitments
  1. Sales Support: 15%
  • Merch store order and inventory management for sales promo items as needed for sales rep support
  • Syndigo Intake – partner with Samples to get updated and new products sent to Syndigo
  • Inmar redemption house RT promotional coupon code management and tracking
  • Additional admin sales support/coordination as needed
  1. Event Marketing: 10%
  • Cloverdale brand ambassadorship, product sampling and event auditing to support existing local sports marketing partnerships and athlete sponsorships (i.e. Bobcats, Larks, Team UOA, JMO, etc.)
  • Ticket tracking and distribution to internal Cloverdale employees
  1. Project Management: 10%
  • Utilize Monday.com project management platform to support Marketing team and key responsibilities
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within set budget parameters
  • Shipping, marketing PO input, Marketing dept. mail responses/routing as needed
  1. #forthedale Projects: 5%
  • Represent the Marketing team to support cross-functional internal Cloverdale project needs for Mandan HQ

 

 


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of progressive project management experience.
  • Some college. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.

  • Willing to get hands dirty while possessing the ability to think strategically.

  • Effective in managing complex program executions through superior organization, communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop synergistic vendor relations.
  • Willingness to track accountability through tracking data and being aware of all tools to hold the standard for office protocols and procedures.
  • Willingness to embrace Cloverdale’s commitment to Organizational Health.
  • Advanced computer skills including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity/high comfort level with technology platforms for project and data management.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

 

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:

  1. Must be comfortable sharing office space with other professionals and performing repetitive, computer-based tasks. This includes extended periods of sitting, reaching with hands and arms, and using input devices such as a keyboard, mouse, and other tools. The role requires maintaining focus on detailed screen work for prolonged durations, including tasks such as data analysis, report preparation, and troubleshooting operational issues.
  2. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, stretch, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  3. Must be able to communicate through various channels, including phone, email, face-to-face, and videoconferencing, effectively building and presenting organized data and plans to leadership, internal and external groups of various sizes, and key stakeholders. Ability to possess a very high level of social interaction.
  4. Must be comfortable working outdoors on rare occasions.
  5. Ability to work under high- stress environments and strict deadlines with demands from multiple units.

At Cloverdale Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  Actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
