Job Description

The Market Specialist plays a vital role in supporting Market Area Managers and Field Coaches in the Central Region. This position involves performance monitoring, trend analysis, dealer engagement, and the development of sustainment packets. The specialist will also lead virtual Health Checks with dealers to optimize GXP usage and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Monitor dealer performance using Flash Ops Report / Qlik Sense.
  • Conduct trend analysis to track dealership performance through GXP.
  • Develop insights and discussion points based on usage patterns.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of performance metrics.

Pre-Visit Packet Development:

  • Assemble Sustainment packets tailored to mobile and non-mobile service dealers.
  • Collaborate with team members to refine packet components.

Health Checks (Virtual Dealer Engagement):

  • Lead Health Checks to assess dealer performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Gather feedback from Field Coaches and Product Experts to refine processes.
  • Facilitate pre- and post-work for Health Checks to ensure productive outcomes.
  • Address dealership concerns, such as shop hours adjustments or personnel additions.
  • Maintain a structured Health Check schedule based on dealership size and RO count.
  • Document meeting summaries in a shared repository for team-wide accessibility.

Dealer Support & Collaboration:

  • Provide direct support to Market Area Managers and Field Coaches.
  • Attend select dealer visits, including:
    • Sustainment visits
    • Mobile Service launches
    • CX launches (potentially combined with MS launches)
  • Ensure consistent follow-up and strategic discussions to drive dealership success.

Qualifications

  • The role requires a detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic approach to dealer engagement.
  • Ability to leverage PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, SharePoint, and other Microsoft tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data, and provide solutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in sales or operations, with a proven track record of building cohesive teams and increasing productivity.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience successfully managing multiple projects preferably in an automotive environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience.
