As a Market Sales Coordinator, you will support Strategic Account Managers and Market Sales Managers by being a dedicated point of contact for orders, sourcing, logistics and account coordination. You will work closely with these assigned Managers on contract terms, pricing and fulfillment. Your primary focus is on capturing rental equipment orders and fulfillment but will also participate in activities that support building customer trust, retention and promoting UR total value proposition. You will do so in a manner that supports customer advocacy and United Rentals revenue growth for all business units. Your overall objective is to deliver the highest possible levels of order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do:
Constantly capture and execute customer orders with a high degree of urgency
Work with Inside Sales Reps from all business units in the market, actively source equipment, arrange transportation, and develop orders accurately across all UR general rental and Specialty branches
Provide customers viable, well thought-out equipment alternatives if certain equipment is not available
Maintain high familiarity and skill within UR One, UR Control, Total Control, mobile apps and Sales Force
Identify and communicate opportunities to increase profitability and expand customer equipment mix
Provide equipment, on-rent, and invoice level reporting to customers as requested or scheduled
Respond to and diffuse customer objections
Monitor customer feedback surveys and interject as needed
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3 years of customer service experience
Strong customer service orientation
Strong communication and presentation skills
Solid computer skills and knowledge of most current business software
Independent worker and self-starter with strong self-imposed structure
Knowledge of equipment rental industry, Total Control, ERP systems, and pricing for rates, freight, and overtime
Ability to multi-task and interact with customers via phone, email, text or web
Strong sense of urgency
