Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Research Intern to join our team!
This position is intended to be a one-year, post-graduate internship to support OhioHealth’s Customer Research team. This hands-on opportunity will deepen your understanding of consumer behavior, research methodologies and data analysis, while providing candidates with valuable professional work experience and insight into the Market Research and healthcare industries.
During your time at OhioHealth, you will connect and collaborate with various stakeholders allowing you to gain insight into OhioHealth’s culture and business philosophy, while building technical skills through engaging and meaningful project work.
You will help develop research studies for OhioHealth’s online community, OhioHealth Listens; while also utilizing industry tools like NRC Health’s syndicated data tool, Market Insights.
You will sharpen your Quantitative skills by analyzing large data sets, while also learning how to navigate the nuances of Qualitative data.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Project manage market research projects from beginning to end, including design, execution, analysis, and presentation of data to all levels of the organization.
Performs primary research and secondary analyses that integrates multiple sources of data.
Work with Customer Research Manager to bring the Voice of the Customer to life by analyzing and interpreting research findings, translating data into actionable insights, and synthesizing insights into clear and concise reports and presentations.
Monitor the health of the Brand and the success of Marketing and Advertising campaigns by tracking and reporting key performance indices.
Collaborate cross-functionally by developing key internal and external partner relationships, including research suppliers and agency partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree: Marketing
Additional Job Description:
- Degree in Market Research, Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing, Business or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrated knowledge in questionnaire and discussion guide development, research methodologies and data analysis.
- Academic or professional experience programming surveys with DIY survey platforms like Survey Monkey or Qualtrics.
- Academic or professional experience with Market Research Online Communities is preferred, but not required.
