Huntsman has an exciting job opportunity of Market Product Quality Specialist in Tienen. The Market Product Quality team acts as the link between the customer, the product development teams, suppliers, manufacturing, and the supply chain. You will work closely together with Purchasing, Sales, Innovation, Manufacturing, Process Chemists, Logistics and Customer Service to prevent product quality issues at customers, and they help ensure that customer requirements are translated into robust products that can be efficiently manufactured, tested, stored, and delivered. Role Responsibilities:
As a Market Product Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Developing, planning, and managing experimental programs needed to meet business targets in terms of product quality and customer satisfaction.
Guaranteeing an effective functioning of business-critical processes as f.e. the introduction of new products or raw materials, the setting up of product quality parameters in the SAP Quality Management Module, etc.
Analyzing customer product quality complaints and concerns to identify effective corrective and preventive actions.
Exploring new and innovative ideas by consulting PU technical experts across different teams (Innovation, Product Management, Business Development, Manufacturing, ...).
Monitoring, contributing, and looking for continuous improvements, together with the rest of the team, to optimize the tools and equipment.
Growing into the role of Market PQ Specialist, which will include direct communication with customers and suppliers on quality issues, by developing and in-depth knowledge of PU products and systems, PQ tools and techniques (application tests - statistical programs etc.).
Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, preferably with a first relevant experience
Excellent laboratory skills and willingness to work in the lab.
Experience in interpretation of results and report writing is an asset.
Strong solution driven mind-set and a high level of stress resistance to deal with a large variety of tasks; being able to set the right priorities.
Teamplayer with good communication skills.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
