JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy Market Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing a portfolio of hotels, as well as newly acquired hotels transitioning into the HBX ecosystem. Your mission is to drive volume, increase automation, and elevate hotel self-service through a digital-first approach.

You will work with a large portfolio of hotels, leveraging tools like MITRA, Salesforce, and the weekly Activity Planner to execute centrally prioritized opportunities. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and is passionate about using technology to scale performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Optimization: Manage and grow a portfolio of hotels, focusing on automation, self-service, and digital engagement.

  • Digital First Execution: Leverage tools such as Hotel Self-Set, MITRA MLU+, and the Digital Agenda to streamline hotel interactions and maximize efficiency.

  • Opportunity Management: Execute weekly opportunities using the weekly Activity Planner and monthly financial tracker to improve contracting conditions and revenue.

  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, Workday, Vonage, JIRA, and TeamViewer to manage tasks and track performance.

  • Hotel Consultative Selling: Apply consultative selling techniques to identify growth opportunities and enhance partner engagement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Acquisition and Onboarding teams to support the growth of new hotels.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and trainer for specific tools or initiatives, supporting team development and troubleshooting.

  • Comfortable engaging with hotel partners across different diverse regions.

  • Ability to interpret data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Strategic mindset with strong time management and multitasking capabilities.

Tech Fluency & Tool Mastery

  • Comfortable navigating and adopting new digital tools and platforms.

Innovation & Adaptability

  • Creative problem-solving, embracing change, and seeking out new ways to improve processes.

  • Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Results Orientation

  • Highly motivated by performance metrics and revenue growth.

  • Proven ability to deliver results through structured planning and execution.

Required Tech Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Outlook and Teams); familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, Workday, and MITRA is highly desirable.

  • Experience with MITRA, Salesforce, and MaxiRoom is highly valuable

Required  Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in managing commercial accounts in the travel or hospitality industry.

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in Operations, Sourcing, Sales, Marketing, or a related area.

  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

  • Adept at managing multiple business priorities and complex situations with strategic thinking and composure.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Medium-level proficiency in MS Office.
