Success in this role comes from building a culture of accountability, coaching employees to perform at a high level, and ensuring every shift operates safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader who is equally comfortable analyzing performance metrics, coaching frontline employees, responding to operational challenges, and rolling up their sleeves to support the team whenever needed.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, coach, and develop the site's Operations Coordinators, Fleet Supervisors, and other frontline operational staff.

  • Ensure vehicles, drivers, and operational resources are prepared each day to support successful shift execution.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements that increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve the driver experience.

  • Maintain high operational standards through regular audits, inspections, and process reviews.

Driver Performance Management
  • Own the performance of the market's driver population.

  • Monitor key performance metrics including productivity, trip completion, utilization, safety scores, attendance, customer ratings, and policy compliance.

  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, ride-alongs, performance reviews, and corrective action meetings.

  • Develop performance improvement plans for underperforming drivers while recognizing and developing top performers.

  • Foster a culture centered around accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Training & Employee Development
  • Oversee onboarding and training for all new drivers.

  • Ensure drivers receive consistent instruction on company procedures, safety expectations, customer service, and operational best practices.

  • Reinforce Standard Operating Procedures through ongoing coaching and refresher training.

  • Develop frontline leaders and build a strong pipeline for future operational leadership roles.

Workforce Management
  • Ensure the market remains appropriately staffed to meet business demand.

  • Monitor scheduling, attendance, call-outs, and shift coverage to minimize operational disruptions.

  • Partner with Recruiting and HR to support hiring, onboarding, and employee retention.

  • Address attendance issues promptly and consistently while maintaining fair application of company policies.

Safety & Compliance
  • Champion a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.

  • Monitor driver safety performance and lead coaching following safety events or incidents.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.

  • Investigate operational incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Operational Performance
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Own market KPIs including driver productivity, utilization, attendance, shift fulfillment, safety, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

  • Build action plans to improve performance and consistently raise operational standards.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to successfully implement new operational initiatives and company-wide programs.

Successful Candidates Will Bring
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing high-volume operations in logistics, transportation, hospitality, fulfillment, retail, field operations, or a similar fast-paced environment.

  • 2+ years of experience leading and developing frontline teams.

  • Demonstrated success coaching employees, improving performance, and building strong operational cultures.

  • Strong operational instincts with the ability to make effective decisions in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • BA/BS with an impressive academic record

  • Experience in rideshare, transportation, fleet operations, or logistics is a strong plus.

  • Available full-time, on-site in Los Angeles (5 days per week).
