As a Market Manager, you will drive the growth and health of our supply in Spanish South America by managing professional host accounts and acquiring high-quality inventory. Your role focuses on strengthening Airbnb's market presence through collaboration, leveraging local market expertise, and aligning with our mission and values.

As a Market Manager, you will oversee the overall supply health of key Airbnb markets in Spanish South America, ensuring a strong presence of high-quality listings. Your role is pivotal in expanding our host network, optimizing supply, and driving market growth.
A typical day:
- Build, manage, and grow partner relationships within your territory to exceed quarterly sales targets across 125+ Professional Host accounts.
- Conduct optimization calls and business reviews to strengthen partnerships, providing exceptional and timely support, including in-person meetings as needed.
- Develop strategies to manage and optimize thousands of professional hosts in your region effectively.
- Prospect and onboard new high-quality supply in your assigned geography.
- Educate clients on product updates and relay feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Leverage data to identify strategic growth opportunities, navigate operational complexities, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Foster innovation by implementing unique engagement projects using an entrepreneurial approach.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, legal, tax, and customer support teams to drive long-term market success.
- Analyze local market trends to provide insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support technical partnerships to ensure a seamless experience for hosts and guests.
- Represent Airbnb in external meetings with professional hosts and at industry conferences, reinforcing the brand's presence.
- Contribute to host community programs to drive growth and engagement across the Airbnb community.
Your expertise:
- 8+ years of experience in account management and partner support, with a proven ability to foster and grow business relationships.
- Proven success in managing a leads pipeline and a book of business, effectively nurturing and converting opportunities.
- Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and apply data for day-to-day decision-making.
- Adaptability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, with a history of executing effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience, ensuring alignment and success across teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Self-starter with strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce experience is a plus), with expertise in managing leads, opportunities, and core CRM objects.
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese and English — to operate effectively across South America's diverse markets.
- 4+ years of travel industry experience is a plus, showcasing sector-specific knowledge.
- 2+ years of tech industry experience is a plus, showcasing sector-specific knowledge.
- Willingness to travel regularly within your assigned territory and internationally (once every 4 to 6 weeks), based in São Paulo, Brazil.
- Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy — being an Airbnb host is a plus — reflecting alignment with the company’s mission and culture.

This role requires candidates to be based in São Paulo, Brazil. This role is not eligible for relocation support.
