MARKET INTELLIGENCE ASSISTANT (ONE-YEAR CONTRACT) 

Location: Panamá, Panamá City

Reports to: Market Intelligence Coordinator

Contract: Full-time and temporary position

 

 

YOUR ROLE @CHANEL 

As a Market Intelligence Assistant you will develop unique database for information output in order to contribute to the strategic plan of detail POS:  data sales per door, image per door and ROI per door/animation.

 

 

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
 

DATA INPUT

  • Collect and input retail sales data per door from 2019 to 2022.
  • Entry, process, group, and control of data.  Analysis and reporting of information.

DATABASE UPDATE & CREATION

  • Update BI with sales-per-door data
  • Update and improve image data per door:  excel + app
  • Create ROI database/file with clear KPI:  cost per sqm2 and feasibility per activation.  

DATA COLLECTION & PROCESSING

  • Verify the daily availability of files to process within specified network folders.
  • Analyze data within the files and perform necessary conversions to upload data to the system.
  • Save the output of the converted files in TXT format in specified network folders.
  • Check Business Intelligence Software to verify the correct upload of data.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE 

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, marketing, administration, or related.
  • 1+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Fluent both in Spanish and English.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Tableau, and Outlook.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Good math and English skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations.
