We are looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst with 3-5 years of relevant experience to strengthen RAC’s (Refractory, Abrasives & Construction) Business Development team.
The position will be located in Imerys India Corporate Office, Hyderabad.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze and provide monthly/quarterly updates/reports on Competition & Market Trends :
RAC’s end markets
Imports/exports statistics
RAC’s market-shares
Competitor, client and market news
Publicly traded competitors’ financials using annual reports
Specific competitor profiles (e.g., business models, trade routes, product offerings, R&D/developments, capacity, financials, contact information)
Macroeconomic indicators (e.g., PMI) and specific end-markets (e.g., Iron & Steel)
Support the local Indian team (Chairman and Business Development Manager) on :
Monthly reporting (macroeconomics, end-markets)
M&A/business development (screening/profiling)
Profile
Master’s Degree in Management or equivalent
3-5 years of relevant experience in the role of research analyst, market analyst or equivalent function, meaning quantitative work (data analysis & market intelligence, conducting market research), with dashboards & reports, ideally in the B2B / industrial marketing experience

Experience of working in multinational teams, across geographies, with a preference in the industrial sector
The successful candidate will be a collaborative professional, very comfortable doing detailed numerical market analysis, as well as creating presentations that synthesize complex information and tell a compelling story with data. The candidate must be able to quickly develop a good understanding of our business segments, products and technologies.
