MARKET INTELLIGENCE ANALYST 

Location: Panamá, Panamá City

Reports to: Market Intelligence Coordinator

Contract: Full-time and temporary position

 

 

YOUR ROLE @CHANEL 

As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you are a key partner in transforming data into actionable insights. Through your analytical approach and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you ensure data accuracy and generate valuable analysis that supports strategic decisions. Your work contributes directly to improving business performance by enhancing data processes, monitoring market trends, and optimizing how we understand sell-out and inventory dynamics.

 

 

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
 

DATA INPUT

  • Collect sell-out and inventory data from multiple sources with accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare, validate, and format data for system upload, ensuring completeness and reliability.
  • Coordinate with the IT team to oversee daily uploads and resolve any technical issues.

DATABASE ANALYSIS & REPORTING

  • Generate monthly and ad-hoc reports to support commercial and marketing strategies.
  • Analyze product performance, campaign impact, inventory levels, and POS trends.
  • Translate data into meaningful insights that contribute to informed decision-making.

COLLABORATION & SUPPORT

  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and IT to align on priorities.
  • Share insights and respond to internal requests with tailored reports and analyses.
  • Act as a key resource for understanding market dynamics and data interpretation.

 

SYSTEM & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

  • Review and optimize workflows related to sell-out data and reporting processes.
  • Identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Support system enhancements that strengthen data integrity and operational agility.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE 

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, market intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when working with large data sets.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and other reporting platforms.
  • Experience managing and interpreting sell-out, inventory, or retail performance data.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present insights clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Initiative to identify process gaps and propose solutions that drive efficiency.
  • A continuous improvement mentality, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and results.
