Indonesia is one of our most important markets. We’re looking for a Market Expansion Lead (L4) to drive our entry, someone who can set direction, manage operators, and be accountable for hitting growth targets.

What You’ll Do

• Own Market Expansion Strategy
  • Translate Onboard’s north star goals into a clear Indonesia growth plan.
  • Build playbooks across acquisition, activation, and partnerships.
  • Always bring multiple paths to target, not just one idea.
• Drive Acquisition & Growth
  • Scale channels across paid, organic, referrals, and partnerships.
  • Manage influencer campaigns and UGC pipelines with local creators.
  • Optimize funnel metrics (signups → KYC → deposit → activation) weekly.
• Lead Team & Accountability
  • Manage and coach local operators (L2–L3), ensuring they come prepared with data and updates.
  • Hold owners accountable for campaign execution and reporting.
  • Push the team to stay focused on numbers and outcomes, not activity.
• Represent Onboard in Market
  • Build partnerships with creators, communities, and ecosystem players.
  • Identify regulatory and operational blockers, escalate quickly.
  • Be the bridge between HQ strategy and local execution.

Who You Are

• Data-savvy: SQL and comfortable with spreadsheets. You connect spend → funnel → CAC → activation.
• GSD Driver: you push teams to prep, deliver, and own their numbers.
• Operator DNA: you thrive in zero-to-one markets and bring urgency to execution.
• Community-builder: you know how to mobilize influencers, creators, and grassroots networks.
• Culturally rooted: you’ve lived, worked, or built communities in Indonesia and understand the nuances of trust, language, and local behavior.

What We’re Looking For in Your Background

• 5–7 years in growth, expansion, or marketing leadership roles.
• Proven track record of launching or scaling products in emerging markets.
• Experience managing teams or pods and coaching individual contributors
• Strong writing and communication in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Bonus: proven ability to deliver results in scrappy, resource-constrained environments where brand leverage was low.
