In this role, you will:
As an OpenTable Market Development Representative, you play a pivotal role in our sales trajectory. In this role, you will manage and cultivate all inbound leads generated by our B2B marketing team, articulating the benefits of OpenTable's reservation and guest management solutions. Your primary focus will be on effectively converting these leads into qualified opportunities, ensuring a seamless transition into the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, and a showcase a proactive approach to lead management.
Responsibilities include:

Proficiently handle large volumes of inbound leads while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Evaluate and qualify inbound marketing leads to ensure that they align with OpenTable's ideal customer profile.

Showcase the benefits and value of our offerings, emphasizing their impact on restaurant operations and guest experiences.

Ensure lead quality by evaluating their requirements, budget, and compatibility with OpenTable's solutions, funneling only apt prospects to Account Executives.

Cultivate strong bonds with restaurant customers, positioning oneself as a trusted and knowledgeable ally.

Partner with Account Executives to deliberate on prospective accounts, exchanging insights to boost successful conversions.

Use CRM tools, like Salesforce, to monitor prospect engagements, update details, and ensure precise record-keeping.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Participate in sales-centric gatherings, training, and upskilling endeavors to hone product familiarity, sales skills, and industry insights.

Minimum of 3-5 years in sales development or business development roles, ideally within the hospitality, tech, or SaaS sectors.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $55,000-$65,000.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
