Chemours is seeking a Global Market Development Manager to join our growing Product & Market Management team! This position will report directly to the Product & Market Management Director at our Wilmington, DE location.
Market Development Manager will conduct market research and lead short-, mid- and long-term Titanium Technologies business growth initiatives from existing and new market segments and applications. Market Development Manager will work with various internal functions and external target stakeholders to generate top and bottom-line growth plan for Titanium Technologies. Market Development Manager will also participate business planning and strategy development cycle by working with product and market management team.
Key skills for this role are research capabilities, analytical skills, effective communication, creativity, entrepreneurship, and mobilizing resources to accomplish goals and strategic thinking to address challenges and to deliver results.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Leading market research (rapid market assessment) with Market & Customer Insights

Developing market segmentation, targeting from market research, and developing value propositions for new offering development or strategy development in target segment

Developing actionable product promotion plan and channel strategy with market management team, and Executing product promotion plan

Leading growth initiatives and new product development projects
-
Working with Communications team to develop brand promotion and digital marketing strategy

Collaborate with Product & Market management team to develop effective marketing campaigns to generate leads and short / mid term revenue

Participate strategic planning cycles with Product & Market management team.
The following is required for this role:
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or marketing with 5 years of marketing experience or longer in Chemical industry.

Global market development experience from Chemical industry
-
Experience in market research and new growth initiation or Experience in new business development by executing new growth initiatives strategy.

Ability to strongly contribute to strategic planning at global level.
-
Leadership capability in the development and delivery of successful campaigns in collaboration with sales, MarComm and market/product management.

Strong performance tracking skills.
-
Demonstrated capability creating fit-for purpose programs and implementing them consistently across touchpoints and markets.

Highly skilled in leading complex cross-functional initiatives with successful outcomes, within a remote matrix organization.

High analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
The following is preferred for this role:

Strong commercial acumen with experience in product management, project management, or sales

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM software (PowerPoints, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SFDC)
