Role Overview
PTC is strengthening its market presence in the Central European Region (CER) and is creating a new, high-impact leadership position: Head of Business Transformation Office.
The Head of Business Transformation Office will work directly with the Country Manager to expand PTC’s visibility, presence, and influence across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The role focuses on building strong connections with industry-specific communities, academic institutions, strategic partners, and key industry influencers to position PTC as a recognized leader in the market.
The Head of Business Transformation Office will be supported by resources from different departments to ensure the successful execution of external initiatives.
In addition, the role is expected to collect and share relevant market and industry insights with the Country Manager to support business activities and decisions.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish and expand PTC’s presence in vertical-specific industry communities, professional associations, and innovation networks.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners, academic institutions, and key industry influencers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Represent PTC at external forums, events, and working groups to strengthen brand visibility and industry relevance.
- Capture and share critical market intelligence, customer trends, and ecosystem developments to support regional initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in external stakeholder engagement, business development, or ecosystem management, ideally within a technology-driven environment.
- Strong leadership presence and excellent networking skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships at senior levels.
- Outstanding communication skills in both German and English, capable of representing PTC credibly in external discussions and industry events.
- Highly self-driven and action-oriented, with the ability to independently manage external initiatives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology markets and the ability to position solutions effectively in an industry-specific context.
- Resilient and adaptable mindset, with confidence in working across diverse external audiences and dynamic environments.
