About your team
The Global Market Data team at FIL manages multiple vendor relationships across many regions, the team ensures data quality, optimises costs, and delivers strategic insights to support investment decisions across all asset classes and geographies.
About your role
We are seeking a Market Data Administrator to join our global team, responsible for managing market data inventory, vendor relationships, and billing processes. You will maintain the MDSL platform, process service requests, manage entitlements, and ensure accurate invoice reconciliation. The role includes handling exchange declarations, supporting audits, and contributing to reporting and process improvements. You’ll work closely with vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Markit, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and supporting month-end financial processes. Key tasks include uploading Bloomberg SID, Refinitiv DAD, and DACS data, validating usage, and coordinating sign-offs. This role is central to maintaining data integrity, cost control, and operational efficiency across the firm. It offers broad exposure to global teams and vendors, with a clear impact on financial accuracy and strategic data management.
About you
- Essential skills include 5+ years’ experience in market data operations within financial services, strong working knowledge of MDM platforms and vendor tools (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv), and proven expertise in invoice reconciliation and inventory management.
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and reporting skills, proficiency in Excel, and effective communication across teams and vendors. Familiarity with workflow/reporting tools like ServiceNow or Power BI is a plusEnthusiastic about technology, innovative in approach
