Position Overview:
The Market Brand Specialist is a dynamic, customer-focused professional responsible for generating and supporting sales from Mill Creek’s Design Center showroom, while also promoting the Mill Creek brand across retail, builder, and commercial markets. This individual will work closely with the Outside Sales Team, Architects, Designers, and Project Managers to deliver exceptional service, product expertise, and seamless coordination. 
As a true ambassador of the Mill Creek brand, this role will blend in-person sales, strategic outreach, and field work to grow our presence in the market.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Relationship Building:

  1. Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with builders, designers, architects, and homeowners to drive repeat business and referrals
  2. Represent the Mill Creek brand with professionalism, warmth, and follow-through in every interaction
  3. Serve as a dependable resource for customers throughout the sales process, providing support from product selection through project completion.

Showroom Sales & Customer Service

  1. Serve as sales contact for walk-in and appointment-based clients at the Design Center
  2. Educate customers on product options (fireplaces, doors, windows, trim, and other Mill Creek offerings) and guide them through the selection and purchase process
  3. Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding project goals and ensuring product recommendations align with design vision and functional needs

Outside Sales Support & Coordination

  1. Partner with Outside Sales Representatives to ensure smooth handoffs, quote follow-ups, and project coordination
  2. Assist in tracking orders, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and timely execution
  3. Prepare sales documents, quotes, and presentations as needed to support sales efforts

Brand Representation & Market Outreach

  1. Build relationships with new and existing clients, including custom builders, commercial developers, and design professionals
  2. Represent the Mill Creek brand at networking events, job site visits, and product showcases
  3. Serve as a knowledgeable resource for Architects and Designers regarding Mill Creek product offerings and services
  4. Support marketing efforts by gathering testimonials, taking project photos, and promoting success stories

Field Engagement & Measurements

  1. Conduct job site visits to gather project measurements, verify conditions, and confirm installation details when necessary
  2. Coordinate with the service and installation teams to communicate customer needs and ensure accuracy

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in sales, showroom consultation, or account management (building materials industry preferred)
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and relationships in a fast-paced environment
  4. Working knowledge of doors, windows, fireplaces, and trim products a plus
  5. Proficient in CRM systems, quoting tools, and basic office technology
  6. Comfortable traveling to local job sites as needed (valid driver’s license required)

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in sales, showroom consultation, or account management (building materials industry preferred)
