POSITION SUMMARY

The Market Analyst is responsible for conducting market research, interpreting findings, and providing recommendations that support profitable growth. The analyst will evaluate all aspects of the market, including products, channels, industries, and competitors, and will partner with key stakeholders both internally and externally. They will also be responsible for conducting ad hoc data analysis and gathering competitive intelligence.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and implement marketing programs for product lines to drive profitable growth and increased market share.
• Gather and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.
• Perform valid and reliable ongoing market research SWOT analysis.
• Identify market trends and act as primary internal point of contact for technical and application questions from regional sales managers, reps and industry players.
• Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution. Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.
• Conduct training on assigned markets and products.
• Contribute to the development of content marketing deliverables such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and digital media content. 

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, or business-related field.

·         2+ years of sales and/or marketing experience.

·         Ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategies.

·         Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Demonstrated skills in supporting sales, profitability, and budget goals.

·         Ability to interface and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally.

·         High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player.

·         Proven ability to effectively communicate cross functionally and vertically within company and the customer.
