The Role

Under direct supervision, the Market Access Intern will assist with planning and execution of ongoing marketing efforts for market access projects.

 

What You’ll Work On

• Provide administrative support for the development and production of new marketing literature and sales support tools.  

• Assist the Market Access Team in updating ShowPad.

• Attend trade shows and meetings to develop an understanding of the clinical use of Penumbra products.

• Participate in health economic data gathering and review activities, help create marketing material to tell the health economic value story of PEN products, support publications and scientific presentations that underpin Penumbra’s messages and clinical value propositions in the medical community.

• Conduct ShowPad Audit and provide recommendations to the Team on what needs to be updated, removed, added, or re -vamped

• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.

• Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.

• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.

• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

 

What You Contribute

• High school diploma with 2+ years of college. Coursework in biology, neuroscience, business, or a related discipline with 1+ year of business, administrative, or marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other standard office tools required.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Some exposure to digital marketing.

 

Working Conditions

General office, laboratory, and cleanroom environments. Willingness and ability to work on site.  Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.

 

Base Pay Range Per Hour:  $20.00 - $30.00

Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
