A Day in the LifeAs an Intern, you will provide support to Health Policy & Market Access and Medical Surgical & Neuroscience team in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on both, technical and strategic levels. Every day work will give you an opportunity to witness how Medtronic team identifies patient access gaps and addresses them, managing daily responsibilities to provide better support for patients and customers. What’s more, you will have an opportunity to speed up and improve processes, so that we are able to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend the life of more patients in Baltic countries.
Internship details:
• Start date: September/October 2025
• Duration: 6 months (can be extended)
• Working hours: 24-40 hours per week
• Working model: hybrid
• Location: Riga, Latvia
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Assisting in summarizing clinical and economic evidence within market access projects, marketing materials, and the discontinuation and regulatory status of products
• Supporting health policy and market access related event preparation, as well in weekly strategical discussions
• Providing technical assistance in preparing value and reimbursement dossiers and commercial offers, including collecting and comparing information.
• Assisting in collecting data and updating the database of patient access and reimbursement status, market models, by countries and therapies
• Providing updates into project management and business intelligence tools for project tracking and visibility
• Coordinating and monitoring marketing operations: conferences, symposiums, patient days, etc.
• Assisting with the development, monitoring, coordination, and implementation of projects
Required Knowledge:
• Studying a degree in Healthcare, Pharmacy, Nursing, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Law, Science
• Proficient in English
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools
• Eager to learn & develop
• Interested in optimization and improvement work
• Strong in quantitative competencies combined with a curious and empathic approach
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
Would be a plus:
• Fluent in a Baltic language (Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian)
