The Marine Engineer will be stationed on site as part of the EPC project team and will be primarily responsible for the site supervision, coordination, and external communication related to marine HDPE pipeline works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate site activities related to marine HDPE intake and outfall pipeline works;
- Monitor and supervise the execution of works by marine subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved methods and project requirements;
- Coordinate interfaces among site construction, surveying, marine vessels and equipment, diving operations, and other related activities;
- Act as the EPC Contractor’s site representative and conduct daily technical and progress communication with the Owner, Engineer, and relevant third parties;
- Report site status to the Project Manager and assist in driving construction progress and resolving site issues.
Requirements
Required Experience and Competencies:
- Proven experience in marine HDPE pipeline projects (offshore or nearshore installation experience is preferred);
- Experience in EPC project site management, with familiarity in subcontractor supervision and coordination;
- Strong site supervision, organizational, and communication skills;
- English as a working language, capable of direct communication with the Owner and Engineer in meetings and on site;
- Willingness and ability to work on a project site.
Language Requirements:
- English: Mandatory (able to communicate directly with the Owner)
- Azerbaijani / Russian: Advantage (not mandatory)
Skills Required
