Job Description

In accordance with the needs Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP), the MCPP Training Coordinator will assist in the coordination, design, planning, scheduling and delivery of MCPP training to staff, families, schools, outside facilities, and healthcare companies on the use of the MCPP techniques.

Experience

  • 1 year of experience working in program coordination/project management or a related field
  • 1 year experience with Learning Management Systems
  • 1 year experience with training scheduling and coordination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the use and maintenance of SCORM or AICC course functionality
  • History designing and creating eLearning course materials using programs like Articulate
  • Demonstrated ability to create systems and processes that support the effective management of the LMS and its content sources
  • Technical certifications or coursework related to LMS and content administration, preferred
  • Previous experience creating and organizing online learning content

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Instructional Design, Technical Learning or Allied discipline

Certification Summary

  • Certification in MCPP as a user and trainer is required within 30 days of hire
  • BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages MCPP’s training coordination, registration, and onboarding.
  • Owns the MCPP’s LMS operation from start to finish, including day-to-day operations and integration efforts that support MCPP’s objectives.
  • Configures the LMS to meet MCPP’s and customer's learning needs.
  • Performs and supports the technical LMS configuration of content.
  • Creates systems and workflows to ensure that all learning resources are available.
  • Modifies current standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Develops processes and procedures for others to follow when providing content to the LMS.
  • Identifies key metrics for ongoing reporting using the data available from the LMS.
  • Designs and maintains all reporting needs.
  • Performs system maintenance/updates and configures and maintain integrations with other internal or external systems as the business needs require.
  • Creates help resources and training for administrator users including instructional videos, how-to guides, and FAQs related to the usage of the learning management system.
  • Adapts and incorporates change management for any configuration changes made to the LMS to ensure a positive end-user experience.
  • Collaborates with other stakeholders to ensure global consistency.
  • Assists with the design and creation of eLearning content for MCPP’s training program. This includes but is not limited to: researching and selecting appropriate content, creating and organizing course materials, incorporating interactive and multimedia elements, designing the user experience, developing the technical aspects of the course, designing and implementing assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the online learning course.
  • Although, the employee’s primary role will be managing MCPP’s LMS systems and online learning content, the individual will also be expected to assist the MCPP Trainer in the delivery of individual and group training on the use of the MCPP for both User and Trainer courses. Includes training for Marcus staff, Children’s staff, families of clients currently being served or previously served by the Marcus Autism Center, school systems, outside facilities, individual providers (e.g., BCBA/BCABA), and healthcare companies.
  • May directly or indirectly assist with operational activities of assigned office, department, or business project including supply maintenance (includes food if applicable), facility management requests, and other office needs as they arise.
  • May attend related conferences as an exhibitor to assist with customer sales and marketing. 
  • Participates and supports education initiatives at the system level to ultimately result in improved quality of training to MCPP’s customers.
  • Performs other responsibilities as required.
